My buddy Keith Kalfas went to the Grant Cardone 10x conference & met a kid thats landing Job after job-each one over $100,000. He decided to interview him. Here it is.

Speaker 1: Alright. Let's do it.
Speaker 2: We can't do it. We can't get air-time.
Speaker 3: That's it. Sorry.
Speaker 2: We can't do air-time?
Speaker 3: It's all about tools and innovations from across the country at different trade shows, and with that being said, there's one coming up called the GIE, the Green Industry Expo. If you guys haven't been to it, that trade show is phenomenal. I mean I would highly recommend if you have any one show to go to, try to check that one out, but if you can't, maybe this will feel a little bit like you're there today.
Speaker 3: But, if you can go, they sent me a link for 50% off your door fees. 50% off to get inside the show, so they said I could share it with people, so I'm going to stick it in the description down below. Why would you pay full price when you can get in for half-price? Anyway, let's go check out some cool tools and innovations.
Speaker 3: Alright, guys. This one is so new, it hasn't even...
Stan: Check this out.
Stan: All right guys, it's the best and worst, and one of the worst is actually going to surprise you because it surprised me. The latest and the greatest inside the landscaping and construction industry and it's all brought to you today by Volvo Heavy Equipment. You see, Volvo brought me out to Houston, Texas where I was able to tour the world of asphalt. I'm also going to be bringing you footage from the world of concrete and everywhere else I can find cool stuff.
Stan: Make sure you guys subscribe because coming at you right down the pipeline, Frankie and I are in the process of building a plywood sink. Yep. A sink out of plywood. That should be an interesting one, right Frankie?
Frankie: Yeah, should be.
Stan: What are we waiting for? Let's get into it.
Stan: Now this one is called the Steel Wrist, it allows you to rotate the bucket indefinitely 360 degrees, has a built in grapple on the back of it, allows you to tilt the bucket from side to side giving...
Stan: All right guys. Today, it's all about our favorite part of owning equipment. Running it? No. Who wants to run it and smash down buildings and have fun playing in the snow? Everybody likes to grease it and maintain it of course. Today, we're going to punch 30 some odd years of maintenance into this video and give you all the best tips and tricks, so that maintenance doesn't have to be such a chore because if you're anything like me, I honestly would rather be driving a piece of equipment than maintaining it, but maintaining it is what keeps the money rolling in instead of your piece of equipment going to the repair shop.
Stan: So, I'm going to share with you all of the best things that I've learned that my father taught me and that my guys along the way have picked up from other people inside the industry. What are you waiting for? Let's go maintain some equipment. Yee Ha.
Stan: All right guys, it's 40 degrees in Minnesota and it finally feels like mother nature's not...
All righty. We've got an awesome video for you today guys, because it's all about the heavy equipment. But we are going to be diving deep, and getting very specific in talking about one of those pieces of equipment you absolutely will eventually need to run any kind of an outdoor service related business. If it's landscaping, excavating, demolition, you guys are gonna need to have this in your tool chest, and it's an excavator. But what we're talking about today guys, can apply to any kind of piece of heavy equipment that you may be looking at buying. And what I mean is we're gonna talk about new versus used, what brand of equipment you should buy, and more importantly, why you'd wanna pick out a certain brand. And lastly, we're gonna be talking about sizing that piece of equipment to get the most use out of it. Do you go really big, or do you go really tiny? You wanna size it exactly right, so that you can get the most use out of it before you need to reinvest into a different...
Stan: Four. For 33 years, I thought that there were four basic pieces of equipment, that as long as any landscape company owned, they could tackle just about any project. Then three years ago, on a pure whim, I picked up what's going to turn out to be number five. It didn't become number five right away. In fact, it didn't become number five until I noticed that on every single one of our projects, the crews would eventually bring it out and put it to work. Sometimes, they would put it to work every single day in the project. Other times, they would only bring it out until the very end of the job. Nevertheless, it always went out on every single one of our jobs.
Stan: Now, when some of you guys find out what this tool is, you're gonna go, no way, no how. That's fine. I don't care, because I would have said the same thing four years ago before I owned one. I would have never guessed that this thing would become such an asset to our company, so I don't blame you for not believing me....
There is a brand new phenomenal technology that's finally available to us. it's called core airvation. What? Do you like it? We're going to discuss that in comparison to dethatching and in comparison to core aeration and there are critical differences.
In this video, we're going to cover them plus when you would want to do each service. I own a detaching unit. I've never used it at my own house. I rent the core aeration plug machines. I've never used it on my own property. As soon as I was able to get my hands on the core airvator, I went over my own yard not once, not twice, but fifteen times. About how many times have you gone over this spot do you think? And the grass is not destroyed? No. What is a core aeration or simply put soil fractionation and I know that's not really putting anything very simple but what it does is it literally drive spikes into the ground and then as those spikes are very below ground the shake rattle and roll. And they loosen...
